To stabilize the state they divinify the pharaoh, so questioning pharaoh autority was questioning the existence of life.

It was way better for everyone than tribes fighting over control of the nile. I think thats why it was one of the first "state" because they had to organise and put stuff in common. The ressources to live are limited in time and space (nile flood), and need to be manage, and put in common. My interpretation is the existence of ancient egypt state is tyed to its very peculiar context arsh hostile desert all around, but very fertile nile.

Also they dont feel the need for money since it doesnt exist yet.Īncient egypt is a very intersting social subject. Your people arent starving since precisely you pay them bread.
BUILDERS OF EGYPT GENRES UPGRADE
Make bread and beer something you can produce and use as a luxury to supply to buildings to allow for them to upgrade into richer provinces/ higher strata. Why not just make it same sort of gold coin? I feel like they are trying to be different and using bread makes sense in a way but it doesn't really when you actually think of it. It makes sense from a early game stand point but makes no sense if they have later progression and while your people starve "stockpiling" bread as currency it makes zero sense. I was also puzzle by the bread, but it does make sense if you think more of it Use multiple stockpile dedicated and limited to the ressources you need.

I see a lot of other people noticing the same and the game just makes me want to go back and play sierra games instead even the graphics are good in this. Thanks but no I like completing things myself just giving a opinion on the game experience. Game - before releasing Prologue - was tested by many players.ĭid you by any chance have the time to look at guide below?

The economy is not good whether you stay small or try to build up at least at the beginning mission. Originally posted by Mikessnow:Need food, build farms, overproduce straw build more clay to use straw for bricks and then you stockpile A LOT of bricks and the trader can't even trade the amount you start getting. Literally all you have to do is copy sierra games to a point but with how this game looks graphically and it would be awesome I presume that is where the inspiration comes from.Īlso bug when trying to demolish a building where it would click on the building menu and the menu stays over the building so you can't demolish, the bazaar seems the worst for it. it's early access but it's something to seriously look at.Īlso bread being the main source of economy is a bit "off" and wouldn't make sense in later stages of the game. Why aren't they then dying from starvation or people refuse to join your village because well you starve your people. You could argue well just keep your houses downgraded and "it's fine" but they are essentially just starving and it makes no sense with no food in the bazaar. Need food, build farms, overproduce straw build more clay to use straw for bricks and then you stockpile A LOT of bricks and the trader can't even trade the amount you start getting.
